Retirement Livery

Ael Y Bryn is a delightful place for your horses to spend their senior years. Our retirement Livery packages come with two weekends a year to stay in our B&B so you can spend time with your horse.

Holiday Livery

We provide individually tailored, short term livery packages. If your are going away or unable to care for your horse for a short period, we will care for them as you would.

Holiday With Your Horse

Looking for a Holiday with your horse? We have a four star B&B and some of the best bridleways leading from our property.

Rest & Revovery

After hard work or illness your horse may need a peaceful place with extra care. our staff are very experienced and knowledgable.

Eventing and Shows

We are located in the Centre of Ceredigion, Mid Wales and an ideal place to stable your horse overnight while you compete or show.

All Weather Menage

We have an all weather Menage for you to use as part of a package or rent by the hour.

The Yard Manager

John Ballard

John has worked with horses for over 45 years. He trained in Devon in the late 70’s. Over the years he has worked in many equestrian settings including racing yards, studs and riding schools. He comes highly recommended by several professional equestrian establishments and a prominent equestrian veterinary practice for his ability to care for horses with a range of needs. 

John has a natural talent for animal care and when not looking after horses he can be found with his German Shepherd Dogs for whom he has an equal passion.

The Ceredigion Countryside

Sir Ceredigion is a historic country on the West Coast of Wales featuring Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian Mountains. A great deal of money and time, including over 1.500 hours by volunteers, has transformed the County's bridleways making Ceredigion an excellent place to visit and keep a horse.
